When curds from the world-famous Ellsworth Cooperative Creamery are your main ingredient, you can’t go wrong.

Get your Deep Fried Cheese Curds at Cheese Curd Central
Located under the Main Tent, festival attendees can get their fill of both fresh and hand-battered deep-fried curds and gourmet dipping sauces at the festival’s Cheese Curd Central booth. They’ll be serving them up three ways this year:

  • Classic Deep Fried: Hand dipped in beer batter and fried just like the ones you love at the state fair. Dip in your favorite sauce from the Dipping Sauce Station.
  • Cinnamon Sugar Dessert Curds: If a cheese curd and a mini donut had a love-child, this would be it. So good, they’re addicting!
  • NEW flavor every year! We’ll be announcing the 2019 Cheese Curd Flavor soon!

We’re excited to announce our 2019 Food Vendors! Get ready to indulge your taste buds!

Two favorites returning again to this year’s festival: The 2018 “Festival Favorite” from The Big Cheese, the Sconnie Sandwich (grilled cheese with gouda, muenster, cheese curds, bacon, and jalapeño chutney). And “People’s Choice” for 3 years running, Smokey Treats BBQ, with their ABT’s (cheese-curd-stuffed, bacon-wrapped, smoked jalapenos poppers).

This isn’t a time for dieting! Have your fill and vote for your 2019 Cheese Curd Festival favorite! Sconnie Tacos, Wisco-Burritos, brick oven pizzas, grilled cheese, donuts, and more are among the other creative cheese curd dishes being served by professional food vendors along Food Truck Alley.

When you’re gettin’ your curds on, you’ve got to have an ice cold something in the other hand! Festival guests will find a variety of perfectly chilled beverage options at the Festival bars. From wine and beer to soda and hard ciders, you’ll find the perfect beverage to compliment all the amazing cheese curd dishes and Sconnie BBQ along Food Truck Alley.

The main festival bar is located across from the Cheese Curd Central booth under the main tent. We’ve also added a second bar to the festival grounds… the Park Bar is located under the Pavilion on the east end of the park.

In addition to a selection of domestic beer, sodas, and bottled water, we’ll be adding wine, hard cider, and craft beer to the beverage options available at the festival this year!

Featured Craft Brews: A variety of regional craft beers will be available in limited quantities, so get your favorite before they’re gone! Names you’ll recognize include Moon Man, Totally Naked, and Spotted Cow from New Glarus, Gunpowder IPA from The Brewing Projekt, and Capital Brewery’s Wisconsin Amber!

Featured Wine: Wisconsin’s own Wollersheim from Prairie du Sac, is the oldest winery in the state. Choose from three of their award winners in mini bottles:

  • White: Prairie Fumé – American Seyval Semi-Dry Wine, so refreshing for an afternoon of music in the park.
  • Red: Prairie Sunburst Red – Wisconsin Marechal Foch Dry Red Wine, pairs deliciously with woodfired pizza and other popular festival foods.

Featured Hard Cider: Maiden Rock Honeycrisp Hard Cider made right in our own backyard in Maiden Rock, WI. It’s a natural semi-dry hard apple cider. Like the apple that is its namesake, Honeycrisp Hard is distinctive, snappy and sassy.
